Cindy Lea Stahl, 65, of Waynesfield, Ohio, passed away Saturday morning, May 4, 2024, at her home.
Cindy was born in El Centro, California, on February 6, 1959, to Kenneth and Lila Ann (Livingston) Carson.
Cindy is survived by her husband Wesley Woolsey; her mother, Lila Ann Carson of Belle Center; her children: Kenneth Andrew Stahl of West Mansfield, Matthew Allen (Sallie) Stahl of Bellefontaine, and Lauren Renee (Brad Ling) Stahl of Georgetown, Indiana; three grandchildren: Noah, Madalynn, and Daxton Stahl; siblings: Gary (JoAnn) Manino of Circleville, James (Cathy) Shepherd of Mt. Victory, and Lisa (Dave) Chiles of Belle Center; 8 nieces and nephews: Makayla, Eric, Kevin, Ashley, Zach, Whitney, Lila, and Rowan; and special pet, her beloved cat Peyton. Cindy was preceded in death by her father Kenneth Carson, and her grandpup Stevie.
Cindy worked as a bank teller at Union Bank in Belle Center for nearly 30 years. She was passionate for her hometowns of Dixon, Missouri, and Belle Center, Ohio. Cindy had an impactful social media presence and contributed worldwide with pet and dining commentary. She enjoyed watching football, especially her Kansas City Chiefs. Cindy had an insatiable love for her children, and lived her life full of optimism, never saying a negative word. Never a stranger, she would make friends wherever she was.
Cindy enjoyed simple things. She loved her home, “The Prairie” as she referred to it, and enjoyed looking out over the property. She would listen to “Now and Forever” by Richard Marx every morning. Music by Lionel Richie, Elton John, and Barry Manilow – to name a few, made her happy. She routinely contributed to the Kentucky Humane Society.
A memorial visitation for Cindy will be on Wednesday, May 8, 2024, at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Bellefontaine, from 3-6pm. The family will be having a private service at her home, “The Prairie”, at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Cindy’s memory to the Kentucky Humane Society, 1000 Lyndon Lane, Suite B, Louisville, KY 40222 (kyhumane.org), or to the family.
