Cleo Eileen Lee

Cleo Eileen Lee, 84, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, May 21, 2023, at Wapak Manor. She was born in Bellefontaine, Ohio on October 16, 1938, to the late Albert James and Cleo Belle (Headings) Gantz.

On December 4, 1958, she married Robert Eugene Lee and he preceded her in death on August 13, 2021. She is also preceded in death by her granddaughter, Alina Lee; sister, Gaythel Krauss, and brothers: James Edwin “Ed” Gantz, William L. “Bill” Gantz, and Bobby B. Gantz.

She is survived by her son, Dennis Eugene (Julie) Lee; grandchildren: Amy Lee Alexander and Andrew Lee; great-grandchildren: Hannah, Joe, and Shelby; sisters: Jerolynn Ashba and Marjorie King; and many nieces and nephews.

A 1956 graduate of Bellefontaine High School, Eileen then went on to graduate from the National School and Aeronautics in 1957 and then started her computer career with United Airlines, working in Chicago and Los Angeles. On January 6, 2001, she retired from Siemens after 32 years. She was also a member of Vineyard Christian Fellowship Church.

There will be a time of gathering to celebrate Eileen’s life on Tuesday, May 30, 2023, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Vineyard Christian Fellowship Church, 624 Township Road 55, Bellefontaine, Ohio 43311.
