Colleen M. Pulfer, 88, of DeGraff, went to be with her Lord and Savior at 6:11 p.m. on Sunday, February 5, 2017 at Lima Memorial Health System (HVU). She was born in Bellefontaine on October 9, 1928 to the late Elsworth and Edna (Smith) Palmer.

On October 20, 1946, she married Lewis Junior Pulfer and he preceded her in death September 18, 2004. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Diana Irene Pulfer; granddaughter, Chrissy Pulfer-Crowell, and a brother, Eugene Palmer.

She is survived by her daughters, Suzie (Dan) Schindewolf of Conover, Cathy (Jon) Pomeroy of Sandpoint, Idaho, and Becky (Rick) Purtee of Quincy; her sons, David (Janie) Pulfer of Celina, and Daniel (Chrissy) Pulfer of Bellefontaine; grandchildren, Mike (Jennifer) Pulfer, Theresa (Mike) Terry, Stacy (Bart) Jones, Casey (Justin) Grimes, Chad and Clint Schindewolf, Joneen (Giovani) Gentilini, Jessie (Erik) Thomas, Bradley (Christina) Purtee, Kyle (Rochelle) Pulfer, and Shauna (Daniel) Jaynes; 16 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; sister-in-law’s, Marion Palmer of West Liberty, Joan Pulfer of Southern Ohio and LeNora Pulfer & Sue Pulfer, both of Sidney; many nieces and nephews; and her cousins’ from Florida.

Colleen was a member of the DeGraff United Methodist Church and loved being at church. She was very devoted to her Lord and Savior. Colleen enjoyed Senior Church meals on Thursday, sewing, making quilts, crafts, playing dominos with her daughter-in-law, Janie, and anyone else who would play. She loved her home and her little dogs.

Colleen’s Pastor Mike Mitchell, whom she dearly loved, will officiate a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 10, 2017 at the DeGraff United Methodist Church, 1839 County Road 24 S, DeGraff, Ohio. Visitation will be Thursday, February 9th, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Daring & Sanford Funeral Home, 210 W. Hayes Street, DeGraff and one hour prior to the service on Friday at the church. Burial will be in Greenwood-Union Cemetery in DeGraff.

Funeral arrangements are in the care of the Daring & Sanford Funeral Home in DeGraff.
