Connie L. Napier

Connie L. Napier, age 70, of Bellefontaine, Ohio passed away Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio.

She was born in Warren, Ohio October 1, 1947, the daughter of the late John “Jack” Conrad Porter and Lois Darlene (Smith) Stapleton. She was also preceded in death by a great grandson, Avery Clark; a sister, Lois “Toots” Munz, and two brother-in-laws, Phillip Ball and Tom Sheeley.

She is survived by her husband of fifty one years, JD Napier, whom she married March 6, 1966. She is also survived by their three daughters, Nancy Coleman of Las Vegas, Nevada, Tina (Marty) Kennedy of Sanford, Florida, and Lisa Napier of Marysville, Ohio; grandchildren, Bobbie Cooley, Ashley Wheeler, Shenna Oswalt, Randi Morris, Sonja Morris, Jacob Hawk, Sabrina Petty, Becky Morris, Zack Coleman, and Vince Coleman; seventeen great grandchildren; her siblings, Darlene “Sue” Ball, Dianna Sheeley, both of Bellefontaine, Patty (Tommy) Wipf of Silverton, Colorado, Kim (Don) Maynard of Irving, Texas, John (Sandy) Porter of Bellefontaine, Beverly Porter of Huntsville, Ohio, Karen (Bob) Davis of Lakeview, Ohio, Art “Bud” (Heather) Stapleton Jr. of Urbana, Ohio and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.

Connie retired from the Kroger Grocery store in Bellefontaine and had also worked for Beeline Clothing as a sales consultant. Along with her husband JD, they owned and operated the former Four Seasons Tanning Salon in Bellefontaine. Connie enjoyed bowling and loved to play cards. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren and loved family get-togethers.

Pastor Bryan Meadows will officiate the funeral service Monday, October 9, 2017, at 2:00 P.M. at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Bellefontaine. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the funeral service from noon to 2:00 P.M. Burial will be at the Huntsville Cemetery.

The staff of the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Bellefontaine assisted the family with the arrangements.
