Connie Robinson

Connie S. Robinson, 75, of Quincy passed away at 12:20 p.m. on Friday, January 16, 2015 at her home. She was born in Quincy, Ohio on March 26, 1939 to the late Irvin and Marie (Pryke) McFarlin.

On February 9, 1957 she married Franch Haggard Robinson, and he preceded her in death on January 5, 2004. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Ella Jane Lester; a sister, Sherry McFarlin; and two brothers, Richard and Jerry McFarlin.

Connie is survived by her four sons; Franchie (Rhoda) Robinson of DeGraff, Daniel (Mary) Robinson of Quincy, Tony (Christina Williams) Robinson of Bellefontaine, and Steven Robinson of Quincy; a son-in-law, Mark Lester of Quincy; 20 grandchildren; 40 great grandchildren; two sisters, LaDonna Smith of Pasco and Margaret Sharp of Sidney; a brother Irvin “Bud” (Rita) McFarlin of Savannah, Georgia; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Connie had worked at the Fair Haven Shelby County Home, Campbell House and the former Ames Department Store. She was a member of the Temple of Quincy Church and enjoyed taking cruises, yard sales, puzzle books, and interacting with people. Connie especially loved her grandkids and time spent with her entire family.

Brother Mark Hina will officiate a memorial service at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 22, 2015 at the Temple of Quincy Church, 102 E. Main Street, Quincy, Ohio 43343. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Quincy, Ohio.

Funeral arrangements are in the care of the Daring & Sanford Funeral Home in DeGraff.
