Connie Sue Rollins

Connie Sue Rollins, 72, of Bellefontaine, passed away Saturday morning, September 24, 2022, at Hardin Memorial Hospital. 

Connie was born in Bellefontaine on April 25, 1950, to the late John Charles Alexander and Betty Shough Kotsaris.  She was also preceded in death by her husband Jack J. Rollins, Jr. whom she married on November 2, 1976, a grandchild Madison Brooke Rollins, a step-daughter Dawn Marie Frost, a brother-in-law Tom White, and a step-sister Sheryl Alexander.

Connie is survived by her daughters: Sherri (Shane) Matthews of Roundhead, and Teresa (Dan) Diener of Bellefontaine; sons: Roger (Jackie) Rollins, Jr. of Russells Point, Jamey (Vanessa) Rollins of Bellefontaine, and Jeffrey (Danielle) Rollins of Bellefontaine; step-children: Jack (Debby Harmsen) Rollins III of Jackson Center, and Denise (Donna) Mount of Springfield; numerous grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; a sister Cathy White of Bellefontaine; and brothers Gary (Carryl) Alexander of Huntsville, and Brent Kotsaris of DeGraff; a step-brother John “GiGi” Alexander; and, not to be forgotten, her beloved cat Lucy.  Connie is also survived by many in-laws on the Rollins side.

Connie was a member of Vineyard Christian Fellowship.   She had worked as a STNA for many years at Heartland of Bellefontaine and also at Mary Rutan Hospital, and had also been a paramedic with the Indian Lake rescue squad.  She was always willing to help people, and was the unofficial caregiver at Shawnee Springs.

Pastor Jeff Willetts will officiate Connie’s funeral on Monday, October 3, 2022, at 12noon at Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Bellefontaine, where the family will receive friends from 10am until the service at noon.  Burial will be in Huntsville Cemetery.
