Connor Eugene Strobridge, 11, of Rushsylvania passed away Monday, March 23, 2015 as a result of an automobile accident near Bellefontaine. He was born September 5, 2003 in Bellefontaine, the son of Jacob Strobridge who survives in Bellefontaine and Ashley (Brent Williamson) Dawson who survive in Rushsylvania.
He is also survived by a sister, Makayla Williamson and a brother, Tayte Williamson, both of Rushsylvania; maternal grandparents, Pam Dyer of Bellefontaine and Bruce Dawson of Tennessee; paternal grandparents, Catherine Reed of Inverness, FL, Rex Strobridge of Cedarville, OH, Brent (Janice) Williamson of Bellefontaine; paternal great grandfather, Frank Howard of Michigan; aunts and uncles, April (Travis) Jenkins, Mackenzie Dyer, Megan Dyer, all of Bellefontaine, Laurinda (Donnie) Whitt of Marengo, Amanda (Eduardo) Ortiz of Dayton, Rebecca (Eric) Weaver of Kettering, Hunter Dyer of Bellefontaine, Jen (Shane) Frazier of West Mansfield, and many cousins and friends.
He is preceded in death by his maternal great-grandparents, Harold and Helen Dyer and his paternal great-grandmother, Theodora Howard.
Connor was a fifth grade student at Benjamin Logan Middle School and enjoyed basketball, video games and playing with his buddies. He was to play in a youth baseball league and join a 4-H Club this summer. He was a huge Cleveland Browns fan, but one of his favorite pastimes was to go fishing with his Dad.
Pastor Bill Walker of Quest Community Church will officiate funeral services Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Bellefontaine First Church of God, 1000 E. Brown St., Bellefontaine, Ohio 43311. Visitation will be on Monday from 2 until 4 and 6 until 8 p.m. at the church. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Cemetery, West Liberty.
