Coral Sue Kerns

Coral Sue Kerns, of Loveland, OH, passed away at 6:32 p.m. on July 10, 2019 at Hospice of Cincinnati surrounded by her family. She was born in Bellefontaine, Ohio on May 1st, 1957 to Robert E. and Shirley J. McPherson.

On August 21, 1976, she married John B. Kerns.

She is survived by her parents, husband; two children, John Wesley (Abby) Kerns and Shawn M. Kerns; three grandchildren, Sawyer, Harper and Miles Kerns; one brother, Steve (Beth) McPherson; and two sisters, Debbie Butler and Linda (Greg) Linville.

Coral was a 1975 graduate of Bellefontaine High School whose career path led her to supporting others with over 20 years with the Logan County and then Clermont County Board of Developmental Disabilities.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She loved playing cards and other games as well as doing puzzles with family. When free time allowed, she loved cooking, travelling, and the theatre as well as singing and playing the piano. Above all she was the most amazing wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, niece, aunt, cousin, and friend to all who knew her.

Visitation will be held Monday, July 15, 2019 from 4 to 7 P.M. at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Bellefontaine.

Pastor Robert Starnes will officiate the funeral service at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, July 16, 2019 at the Gretna Brethren Church in Bellefontaine.

Burial will be at the Bellefontaine Cemetery in Bellefontaine.

The arrangements are in the care of the staff of the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Bellefontaine.
