Corilla Elnora Creviston, 98 of Bellefontaine, passed away on Monday, November 16, 2015 at Heartland of Bellefontaine.

She was born on October 1, 1917 in Ridgeway, Ohio, a daughter of the late Granville Clifton and Evalene (McElheney) Williams.

On Labor Day, September 1936, in Ridgeway, she married Pearl Clarence Creviston Jr. and he preceded her in death on December 26, 1975. She was also preceded in death by infant twins, Samuel James & Sonda Ann and a brother, Clifton Williams, Jr.

Survivors include her children, Fred (Judy) Creviston of Pickerington and Candace V. Krock of Bellefontaine; grandchildren, Heidi Poling, Randy Creviston, Holly Rider, Daniel Mustaine, Christopher Mustaine, Frank M. Dinovo; 15 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

A homemaker, she also did bookwork for her husband at the Horton Grain Elevator near West Mansfield. As a child, she delivered the local newspaper.

She was a member of the Ridgeway Church of Christ and had been a board member. She later belonged to the United Methodist Church’s Ladies Circle in West Mansfield. A 1935 graduate of Ridgeway High School, she never missed a day of school. She was also a member of the Farm Bureau and collected for the United Way and sat on the Election Board in Ridgeway, West Mansfield, and Bellefontaine for a total of 37 years. She enjoyed arts, crafts and loved her flower beds.

Pastor Terry Robinson will officiate a funeral service on Friday, November 20, 2015 at 11am at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home, Bellefontaine where visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral. Burial will be in Ridgeway Cemetery.
