Cosma “Minnie” Vicario, 96, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, passed away Thursday afternoon, December 5, 2013 at Heartland of Bellefontaine.
She was born in Albany, New York November 8, 1917 to the late Frank and Josephine (Demma) Zuccaro.
She married Salvatore “Sam” Bioggio Vicario February 20, 1936, in Albany, New York and he preceded her in death March 13, 1976. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Maria Elena Donato in 1987; an infant brother; and sisters Mary DeGeorge and Jenny Cira.
Minnie is survived by her grandchildren, Brian (Julie) Donato of Dublin, Ohio and Andrea (Tina) Donato of Dayton, Ohio; five great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Minnie was a member of the St. Patrick Catholic Church and the Catholic Ladies of Columbia. She was a partner with her sister, Jenny, at Cira’s Dress Making Shop in Bellefontaine. She had also worked at Bulldog Electric and worked the ticket booth at the Holland Theatre for many years. Minnie was a breast cancer survivor.
Father Patrick Sheridan will celebrate the funeral mass Monday, December 9, 2013, at 11 A.M. at the St. Patrick Catholic Church in Bellefontaine, where visitation will be held one hour prior to the mass. Interment will be at the Calvary Cemetery in Bellefontaine.
The staff of the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine assisted the family with the arrangements.
