Dale L. Nedrow

April 28, 1938 - July 18, 2012

Dale L. Nedrow, 74, of Strasburg, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, July 18, 2012 at First Community Village in Columbus, Ohio. He was born April 28, 1938 in Mineral City, Ohio, a son of the late Clinton D. Nedrow and his surviving mother, Bertha B. (Day) Nedrow-Williams of Dover, Ohio. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Bertha “Marie” Dawson.

On October 3, 1959 in New Philadelphia, Ohio, he married the former Judy Ann Reichman and she preceded him in death in 2009.

Survivors include daughters, Kim (Virgil) Strickler of New Albany, Ohio, and Amy (Chris) Peake of Marysville, Ohio; a son, Robert Nedrow; grandchildren, Tiffany, Katie, Melissa, Angela, Savannah and Bailey; sisters, Sandy (William) Fait of Dover, Ohio and Carol Ann (Bill) Boherty of Daphne, Alabama; a brother, Charles “Chuck” (Gudrun) Nedrow of Chickasaw, Alabama, and a brother-in-law, Dave (Bonnie) Reichman of Tuscarawas, Ohio.

He retired as an auto mechanic and had a passion for farming. He attended Bolivar Wesleyan Church with Dr. Steve Gerig.

Services are being planned for a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.

The staff of the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine, Ohio assisted the family with the arrangements.
