Daniel L. “Dinger” Mitchell, age 58, of Rushsylvania, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, October 1, 2014 at Mary Rutan Hospital in Bellefontaine, Ohio.
He was born August 15, 1956 in Bellefontaine, to the late Robert H. and Francis (Price) Mitchell. He was also preceded in death by an infant son and his sister, Kathy Mitchell Blair.
On November 6, 1982, he married the former Marilyn Grant in Bellefontaine and she survives along with their daughter, Danielle Mitchell of Columbus, Ohio; brothers, Perry (Kristy) Mitchell of Rushsylvania and Bob (Barb) Mitchell of Texas; numerous nieces and nephews, and many close friends.
A graduate of Benjamin Logan High School, he enjoyed fishing, having a good time and enjoyed nicknaming and joking around with people.
Pastor Lynn Cleaveland will officiate a 1:00 P.M. funeral service Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at the Rushsylvania Church of Christ, where friends may call two hours prior to the funeral service.
Interment will be at the Rushsylvania Cemetery in Rushsylvania.
The staff of the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine handled the arrangements.
