David Michael Buscher

David Michael Buscher, 86, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, February 18, 2023, at the Mary Rutan Hospital in Bellefontaine, Ohio. He was born in Noblesville, Indiana, on December 20, 1936, to the late Sherman L. and Dorothy E. (Waterman) Buscher. He is also preceded in death by his sister, Mary Lou Shields.

On June 12, 1960, he married the former Marilyn Akey and she survives in Bellefontaine.

He is also survived by his sons: Michael Buscher and his spouse, Gilbert, David A. Buscher and his spouse Kellie, and Todd Buscher; grandsons: Adam, Daniel, Chase, and Gage Buscher; granddaughters: Erica Buscher-Hershberger and Jennifer Suiter; great grandchildren: Lucy, Lila, Hannah, Jacob, Ava, Sylas, Hudson, Madison, Mattelyn, and Kobe; and a niece, Dottie Skidmore.

David enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a fan of the Cincinnati Reds and the Ohio State Buckeyes. He was a jokester and loved to make people laugh. His pride and joy were his dogs: Lady Lu, Shiloh, Inky Lou, and Shadow.

Per David’s wishes, he will be cremated and there will be no public services.
