David Crabtree

David Max Crabtree, 74, of Quincy, passed away at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, November 14, 2015 at his home. He was born in Sidney, Ohio on January 15, 1941 to the late William and Frances (Frost) Crabtree. He was also preceded in death by his son David Max Crabtree Jr., a grandson William Wayde Poe, and a brother, Michael Crabtree; and a brother-in-law Frank Tabor.

On June 24, 1977 David married the former Sylvia Lester, and she survives along with five children, Troy Crabtree, Robin Stewart, Chrysta (Tony Poe) Crabtree, Wes (Jennie) McFarlin and Michael (Sarah) McFarlin; 11 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; three sisters, Cindy L. Crabtree, Celia S. Tabor, and Polly B. (Tony) Frock; two brothers, Kenneth J. (Linda) Crabtree and Tim B. (Sandy) Crabtree; a sister-in-law Diana Crabtree; a special friend; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Following his retirement from LeRoi, David worked at Green Hills as an electrician in the maintenance department. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran who enjoyed watching NASCAR and football, especially The Ohio State Buckeyes and Cincinnati Bengals.

A funeral service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at the Daring & Sanford Funeral Home, 210 W. Hayes Street, DeGraff, Ohio with visitation two hours prior the service. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Quincy at a later date.

Funeral arrangements are in the care of the Daring & Sanford Funeral Home in DeGraff.
