David Nesser

David Nesser, age 88, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, passed away at 8:45 A.M. Saturday, March 22, 2014, at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio.

He was born in Columbus June 10, 1925, to the late Fred and Theresa (Schmidt) Nesser.

He is survived by his loving wife of sixty eight years, Waneta (Bowers) Nesser; three children; twelve grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; and two sisters, Joann Budd of Westerville, Ohio and Posey Langley of West Virginia.

Dave was a native of Columbus, a United States Navy WWII Veteran and a graduate of The Ohio State University. He was a soil conservationist for thirty years and was devoted to conservation and the outdoors. Dave had also worked for the Logan County Health District for several years.

Honoring Dave’s wishes, there will be no viewing. Pastor Dana Kidder will officiate a memorial service at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at the Logansville Community Church in DeGraff, Ohio.

The funeral arrangements were in the care of the staff of the Daring & Sanford Funeral Home in DeGraff.
