David L. Wiessinger

David L. Wiessinger, 77, of Jackson Center passed away on Sunday, January 14, 2024, at St. Vincent Hospital, Toledo. He was born in Sidney, Ohio on September 19, 1946, to the late Loyd Wiessinger and Lucille (Hensley) Russell. David is also preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Jean (McClure) Wiessinger.

He is survived by his children: Sandy (Tim) Roberts, Robin Wiessinger, and Mark Wiessinger all of Bellefontaine; granddaughter, Janelle Roberts; brother, Ron (Marcia) Wiessinger of Jackson Center; sister, Delores Sutherland of Surprise, Arizona; step-granddaughter, Chelsey White; and several nieces, nephews, and step-grandchildren.

David was a 1965 graduate of Jackson Center High School. He liked tinkering and especially enjoyed stock car racing.  

Per David’s wishes, he will be cremated and there will be an inurnment at a later date.
