Dawn Marie Frost, 55, of Springfield and formerly of Bellefontaine, passed away Friday, December 3, 2021, at her residence.
She was born in Bellefontaine on August 27, 1966, the daughter of the late Jack J. Rollins and Sue L. (Thompson) White, who survives in Tremont City. She is also preceded in death by her stepfather, Richard White in 2019.
On January 24, 2003, she married Robert “Bobby” Frost, and he survives in Springfield.
She is also survived by four children, Rebecca (Dustin) Rollins, Andrea (William) Savage, Robert Frost, Jr., Shane “Bub” (Carmen) Matthews, thirteen grandchildren; Aurora, Kirra, Ace, Zaine, Trisha, Waylon, Isaiah, Jayden, Avery, Aspen, Azearra, Jordan, and Kaine and a special “grandson”, Jonathan, and her siblings; Jack J. Rollins III, Denise K. Rollins-Mount, Brian K. Rollins, Damon E. Rollins, Danny L. Rollins, Gregory Scott Rollins, Sherry Matthews, Teresa Diener, Jamey Rollins, Jeffrey Rollins, Gary White, her father’s wife, Connie Rollins and her mother-in-law, Jodi (Ron) Hulsmeyer, and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Dawn was graduated from Elkins High School, Elkins, West Virginia in 1984 and worked in customer service for 35+ years, working at a gas station, as a bus driver, and a special needs 101 aide at Indian Lake High School. She enjoyed watching football, Big Brother, and anything music related. She enjoyed yearly trips with her mother, granddaughter, and husband to West Virginia. Her true happiness came from her family. Her kids and her grandkids were her life and all she talked about.
Per Dawn’s wishes, her body will be cremated, and a celebration of life service is being planned for a future date.
