Deanna I. Gibbs

Deanna I. “Dee” Gibbs, 61, of Belle Center, Ohio passed away Wednesday evening, August 4, 2021 at Lima Memorial Hospital in Lima, Ohio.

Dee was born in Lansing, Michigan February 17, 1960, to the late Roy A. and Virginia Colleen (Suydam) Fairbanks Sr.  She was also preceded in death by a sister Melinda Tharp and a brother, Jeffrey Fairbanks.

Dee is survived by her husband Gary L. Gibbs Sr., whom she married August 11, 1984 in Stryker, Ohio.  She is also survived by a daughter, Desirae Sell of Indiana; a son, Drew (Kristy) Gibbs of Bellefontaine, Ohio; a step-son, Gary Gibbs Jr. of Bryan, Ohio; grandchildren: Dallas Gibbs, Landon Gibbs, Caden Gibbs, Issac Sell, Brandon Gibbs and Noah Gibbs; her sisters, Marion (Ron) Travelbee of Stryker, Ohio, Karen (Butch) Schur of Delta, Ohio and Pamela (David) Winners of Bryan, Ohio; a brother, Roy “Andy” Fairbanks Jr. of Albion, Michigan; several nieces and nephews and her best friend, Tina (Kevin) Henry of Lakeview, Ohio.

Dee worked as a dispatcher for Chambers Logistics for twenty eight years.  She enjoyed crafting and sewing, collecting donkeys and loved to go to garage sales.

Friends may call Sunday, August 8, 2021 from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home in Belle Center.

Graveside services for Dee will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 14, 2021 at the Riverview Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Defiance, Ohio.
