Deanna Monique Zeller, 61, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at her residence.
She was born November 6, 1951 in Albuquerque, New Mexico, to the late Victor and Antoinette (Rifflet) Kerns.
She is survived by her husband Rev. William M. Zeller, whom she married January 18, 2004 in Bellefontaine. Also surviving are two sons, Michael (Kim) Durnell and David (Angie) Durnell both of Bellefontaine and a daughter, Candace (Paul) Hackenburg of Jackson, Michigan from her previous marriage to Mike Durnell. Deanna is also survived by three daughters, Sharma (Eric) Seibert of Amelia, Ohio, Marissa (Aaron) Szabo and Tana Zeller, both of Cincinnati, Ohio; three brothers, Frank (Melinda) Kerns of Vonore, Tennessee, Don (Dao) Kerns of Cincinnati and Charles (Kathleen) Kerns of Bellefontaine; three sisters, Charlene (John) Paquin of Newport, North Carolina, Arlene (Don) Mitchell of Bellefontaine and Vicky (Keith) Price of Huntsville, Ohio; thirteen grandchildren, Joshua, Aubree, Baylee, Sydnee, Austin, Ethan, Kensey, Ross, Lyndsie, Cora, Isaac, Joshua, and Finley, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A homemaker, Deanna graduated from the Ohio School of Cosmetology in Lima, Ohio. She was the owner of Creative Hair Designs in Bellefontaine, which moved to Huntsville and Lakeview. She also owned and operated Deanna’s Properties: Indian Hallow Campgrounds and Vacation Rentals at Indian Lake.
She attended and served at the Calvary Baptist Church in Bellefontaine, the Waynesfield Baptist Church, the First United Methodist Church in Bellefontaine, the Harper United Methodist Church and the Big Springs United Methodist Church.
Deanna’s husband will lead a service celebrating her life at 4:00 P.M. Sunday, April 14, 2013 at the First United Methodist Church in Bellefontaine, with calling hours from 1:00 to 4:00 P.M. prior to the service.
The staff of the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine assisted the family with the arrangements.
