Deborah Boyer

Deborah J. Boyer, 58, of West Liberty, Ohio, passed away at the Springfield Regional Medical Center Tuesday, June 9, 2009. She was born March 11, 1951, in Sidney, Ohio, to Harry and Eva Jane (Gillman) Watkins. She was preceded in death by her father.

She is survived by her husband, Ivan O. Boyer, whom she married November 30, 1968, in Urbana, Ohio; her mother, Eva Jane of St. Paris, Ohio; three sons, Marc (Shannon) Boyer of Belle Center, Ohio, Lester (Angela LeVan) Boyer and Micky (Darlene) Boyer both of West Liberty; a daughter, Amber Boyer of Bellefontaine, Ohio; a brother, Larry Watkins and a sister, Anne Shaffer both of St. Paris; and fourteen grandchildren.

Deborah was a 1969 Graham High School graduate and worked several years as a receptionist for Dr. Richard Shramo of Urbana. She enjoyed bowling, reading and knitting.

Pastor Michael Wilson will officiate the funeral service at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, June 13, 2009, at the Kauffman-Eichholtz Funeral Home in West Liberty, where friends may call one hour prior to the service. Burial will be held at a later date.

The staff of the Kauffman-Eichholtz Funeral Home in West Liberty handled the arrangements.
