Deborah Cooper

Deborah Jane “Deb” Cooper, 54, of Sidney passed away Wednesday morning, October 7, 2015 at her home. She was born in Toledo, Ohio on September 21, 1961 to the late Robert M. and Jane E. (Staas) Cooper.

Deb is survived by her brother Jeff Cooper of Columbus; sisters Kathleen Odegaard of Conover and Karen Fleck of Uniopolis ; an aunt Martha Grinestaff of Lakeview; nieces Jessica Bryce and Devon Bryce; nephews Michael Bryce, Jason Bryce, Brad Fleck and Zack Fleck; and many great nieces and great nephews.

Deb spent her life as a caregiver. She worked as a dedicated nurse's aide at Green Hills Care Center for thirty-plus years. Her dedication spoke to so many.

Deb had a passion for turning old things new and new things old. Many of her days were spent tracking down "junk" at the local thrift shops. She would turn a $1.00 find into a $30.00 treasure and sell it at a local craft show.

Visitation will be on Monday, October 12, 2015 from 4-7 p.m. at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home, 321 N. Main Street, Bellefontaine. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 17th at the funeral home with Pastor Bryan Meadows officiating. Inurnment will follow in Huntsville Cemetery, Huntsville, Ohio.
