Deborah Skaggs

Deborah A. “Debbie” Skaggs, 53, of Huntsville, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, January 27, 2009, at her residence. She was born in Springfield, Ohio, on April 14, 1955, to Charles “Charlie” and Ruby H. Lawson Johns. She was preceded in death by her mother and a sister, Sandra “Sandy” Johns.

She is survived by her husband, Jeff W. Skaggs, whom she married on November 13, 1994, at Indian Lake, Ohio. Also surviving is her father, Charlie, of Huntsville; a brother, Charles “Chuck” Johns Jr. of Bellefontaine, Ohio; a sister, Kathleen “Kathy” (David) Alkire of Ardmore, Oklahoma, and 7 nephews and 1 niece.

A homemaker and graduate of Indian Lake High school, she was a NASCAR fan and enjoyed her pets, C.J. and Shaggy, and spending time with her family.

Pastor Mike Sandlin will preside at a 7:00 P.M. service on Saturday, January 31, 2009, at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine, where friends may call from 5 to 7 P.M. Burial will be held at a later date.
