Deborah S. “Deb” Wallace, age 64, of Indian Lake, Ohio passed away at 6:13 P.M. Monday, August 28, 2017 in her home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Logan County Ohio September 18, 1952, the daughter of the late Kenneth Clyde and Lou Leona Cooper. She was also preceded her in death by a brother Larry Cooper in 2016.

On August 8, 1975, she married Greg Wallace and he survives along with their two sons, Beau (Sarah) Wallace and Brady (Alyssa Rice) both of Indian Lake; two precious grandchildren, Ali and Finn Wallace, three siblings, Phil (Paulette) Cooper of Inglis, Florida, Jane (Mick) Reed of Indian Lake, and Tom (Sharen) Cooper of Indian Lake; a sister in law, Kathy Cooper of Indian Lake; her mother in law, Mary Jo Wallace of Indian Lake and many nieces, nephews and extended family.

Deb graduated from Indian Lake High School in 1970 and attended Findlay College her freshman year before transferring to Bowling Green State University, where she graduated in 1974. Deb completed her Masters Program at the University of Dayton in 1978. She taught at Indian Lake Schools including sixth Grade and Junior and Senior High L/D Programs for thirty six years.

She loved living on Indian Lake where she lovingly cared for her family. She also enjoyed family vacations in the Florida Keys where at the age of 63 she became locally famous for her bridge jumping exploits.  Babysitting her granddaughter Ali and living to hold her new grandson Finn were the highlights of her life.  She will be missed by many special friends and for her unique sense of humor.

There will be a Celebration of Life Service with casual attire, Saturday, September 9, 2017 at 12 Noon at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Bellefontaine where visitation will be held from 10 A.M. until 12 Noon.

The arrangements are in care of the staff of the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Bellefontaine.
