Debra Furr

Debra Furr, 58, of Lakeview, Ohio, passed away Sunday morning October 13, 2013, at her home.

She was born in Logan County Ohio July 12, 1955, to the late Leigh and Leabelle (Bair) Varner. She married John Furr in 1976 in Belle Center, Ohio, and he preceded her in death in 1992. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Virginia Hare.

Debra had worked at Rockwell International in Kenton, Ohio and was currently employed at AGC in Bellefontaine, Ohio.

Debra is survived by a daughter, Daphne (Michael) Furr-Hamilton of Canton, Ohio; a son, Tim Royer of West Liberty, Ohio; grandchildren Mandi Royer and John Hamilton; sisters, Vada Morris of Tempe, Arizona, Nancy Rogers of Greenville, South Carolina and Norma Peloquin of Bellefontaine; brothers, Roy (Sandy) Varner of Arizona, John (Kathy) Varner of Milan, Ohio and Don (Kay) Varner of Alger, Ohio; her boyfriend, Mel Orahood of North Lewisburg, Ohio and numerous nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Thursday, October 17, 2013, at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home in Belle Center at 11 A.M. with Pastor Bryan Meadows officiating. Calling hours will be held Wednesday, October 16, 2013, at the funeral home from 5 to 8 P.M. Interment will be at a later date at the Preston Cemetery in Alger, Ohio.
