Debra Susan Warner, age 63, of Bellefontaine, Ohio passed away Friday, September 16, 2022, surrounded by loved ones at the Kobacker House in Columbus, Ohio.
She was born in Bellefontaine, August 27, 1959, daughter of the late Malcolm Miller and the late Berniece McGee.
She is survived by her children, Justin (Stephanie) Warner, Mercedes (Kevin) Johnson, Phillip (Mandy Zeisloft) Warner, Joe Lewis (Harmony) Warner, Alvin “Matthew” (Mamie Zylka) Warner Jr., Charlesetta Tolliver; twenty-one grandchildren, Javon, Makayla, Hunter, Hannah, Jakyson, Ezra, Taiylre, Nikia, Phillip Jr., Seth, Savannah, Jett, Divante, Lexus, Isabelle, Lewis, Aliveah, Braylon, Arieah, Anthony “Boog”, Chalony; four great grandchildren; her brother in law and sister’s in law and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She is also survived by special cousin, Melody Mallory and special friends, Cara Gaines, Susan Shuman, and Janice Sims.
She was preceded in death by her late husband, Alvin “Pappy” Warner, both of her parents; a brother-in-law, Michael Warner; two sisters-in-law, Rita Adams and Theresa Warner; a son, Sam Johnson and a niece, Johnae Jones.
Deb and Pappy were foster parents for over seventeen years to upwards of 100 children, some of which they were still close with. Deb enjoyed watching HGTV, DIY projects, shopping, picture collaging and most of all spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was always up for a last-minute adventure at her kids or grandkids request, it did not matter what time of day, she was dressed and ready.
The family will receive friends for visitation on Saturday, September 24, 2022, at the Vineyard Christian Fellowship Church, 624 Twp. Rd. 55, Bellefontaine, OH from 10 to 12Noon. A memorial service will begin at 12Noon officiated by Pastor Eric Cook and friend, Steve Craig.
