Dennis Sharp

Dennis W. Sharp, 60, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, passed away Friday, July 19, 2013 at Kobacker House in Columbus, Ohio.

He was born October 26, 1952, a son of the late B. E. Sharp and the former Dorothy J. Robinson who survives in West Union, Ohio.

On November 18, 1978 in Bellefontaine, he married the former Bobbi Woodman and she survives along with daughters, Mitzy (Peter) Sharp Futro of Sterling Heights, Michigan, and Sandy Hill of Mooresville, North Carolina; son, Joshua Sharp of Columbus, Ohio; four granddaughters; sisters, Joyce Zimmerman of Loveland, Ohio, and Millie (Bud) Broshears of Bellefontaine and one niece and three nephews.

A United Sates Air Force Veteran serving from 1972 – 1976, he was a member of the Belle Center Church of Christ and former member of the Harold Kerr Post #173 American Legion in Bellefontaine. He loved muscle and classic cars, motorcycles, history and classic rock music. He was a diesel mechanic with Refurb 1.

Pastor Dean Wasson will officiate the funeral Wednesday, July 24, 2013, at 11 A.M. at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine where calling hours will be Tuesday, July 23, 2013, from 5 to 8 P.M. Interment will be at the Bellefontaine Cemetery in Bellefontaine.
