Denver Alan Ross Dixon, 36, of Zanesfield, passed away on Sunday, December 21, 2014 at Cancer Treatment Centers of America, Zion, Illinois.
He was born in Bellefontaine, Ohio on Sept. 8, 1978, a son of the late Ross Dixon and Alice (Tapp) (Tony Inskeep) Dixon whom survives in Belle Center.
He was preceded in death by twin brothers, Douglas and David Dixon.
Survivors include sisters, Dawna (Randy Beck) Reames of Rushsylvania, Dayna (Jeff) Kite of Bellefontaine, DiAnna “Di Di” (Randy) Zeigler of Zanesfield; brother, Daren (Diane Meddles) Dixon of Rushsylvania; nieces and nephews, Amy (Kevin) Stoodt, Stormi Kiser, Blaze Kiser, Katy Kite, Jesse Kite, Daniel Zeigler, Jesseka Peck, Dylan Dixon; several aunts, uncles, great-nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
He worked for Advanced Auto Parts and Mad River Mountain.
A 1998 graduate of Ben Logan High School he was an 8-time cancer survivor and served as Co-Chairman for the Logan County Relay for Life. He would be proud to say he beat cancer and died from other complications. He was an Ordained Minister and enjoyed four-wheeling, mud running, camping and his dog “Sid”, along with old trucks and cars. He really enjoyed the time he spent working at the Haunted Orchard each Halloween. He loved family vacations and hanging out with family and friends.
Friends may call on Saturday, December 27, 2014 from 4 – 9 p.m. at Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home, 321 North Main Street, Bellefontaine where a funeral service will be officiated by Pastor Andy Stahler on Sunday, December 28, 2014 at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Middleburg Cemetery.
