Diana Black

Diana M. Black, 68 of West Liberty, passed away on Thursday, February 26, 2015 at the home of her ex-husband in Russells Point.

She was born on April 18, 1946 in Logan County, a daughter of the late Joe and Vivian Snodgrass Kauffman.

She worked for Grimes in Urbana, Ohio where she retired after 30 years and returned to work for them for some additional time.

Survivors include her ex-husband, Larry Black of Russells Point; special niece, Diane “Dee” (Gerald) Blair of Urbana; friends, Wilma (Dick) Huffman of Urbana, Linda (Jim) Baldwin of Mechanicsburg, Marti Streater of Urbana and Frankie Bradley of North Carolina and several cousins.

She was a member of the West Liberty Church of Christ and was a 1964 graduate of Urbana High School. She enjoyed working with people with hearing disabilities and was a lifelong lover of horses. She enjoyed traveling, especially to North Carolina and Holmes County.

Pastor Jim Baldwin will officiate a funeral service on Monday, March 2, 2015 at 11 a.m. at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home, 101 Zanesfield Road, West Liberty, Ohio where friends may call on Sunday, March 1, 2015 from 3 – 6 p.m. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, West Liberty.
