Dixie Boysel

Dixie E. Boysel, age 78, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at her residence.

She was born January 26, 1936 in Cherokee, Ohio, to the late James C. and Norma E. (Short) Grow. She was also preceded in death by a son, James Frazier, and her siblings, June Blosser, Jim Grow and John Grow.

Surviving is her husband of forty nine years, Arthur E. Boysel; sons, Larry (Jana) Frazier and Wayne (Rose) Frazier; a daughter, Jackie (James) Boysel; ten grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren, and her sisters, Lois Hardman and Marian Norton.

Dixie attended the Christ our King Church. She enjoyed traveling, western movies and was a big fan of Elvis Presley. She also enjoyed working with people and was the type of person who never met a stranger. She loved to cook and bake for her family.

Pastor Bruce Bell will officiate the funeral service at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, April 5, 2014 at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine, where friends may call one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at the Fairview Cemetery in West Liberty, Ohio.
