Dolores E. Zeller

Dolores E. “Lori” Zeller, 96, of Bellefontaine, passed away Friday afternoon, November 13,2020, at Belle Springs Nursing & Rehab Center.

Lori was born in Logan County on May 23, 1924 to Leo Dennis and Arminta (Clagg) Sugrue.  She married Lawrence “Larry” Willard Zeller on August 2, 1948 in Logan County, and he preceded her in death on December 17, 2008.  She was also preceded in death by her sister Kathleen Byrne and daughter-in-law Carol Zeller.

Lori is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Mary Elizabeth and John Teolis of Toronto, Canada; son David Zeller of Bellefontaine; three grandchildren: Cortleigh Teolis, Johnny Teolis Jr., and Adam C. Zeller; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Lori was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, Catholic Ladies of Columbia, Catholic Study Club, past-president of the St. Vincent de Paul Society, and was also a member of the D.A.R.

A memorial mass will be celebrated on Thursday, November 19, 2020, at 11am at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Bellefontaine.  Her cremated remains will be placed in the columbarium at Calvary Cemetery, beside her husband, at a later date.
