Donald L. Chapman, 62, of Russells Point, Ohio, passed away Saturday, December 26, 2009, at The Ohio State University Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. He was born in Bellefontaine May 29, 1947, a son of Margaret Vance Chapman, who survives in Bellefontaine, Ohio, and the late Daryl Chapman.
On April 18, 1969, he married the former Alice Hill in Bellefontaine and she survives, along with daughters, Teri (Kevin) Brentlinger of West Mansfield, Ohio, and Kimberly (Shanon Foulk) Chapman of Bellefontaine; siblings, Aaron Chapman and Angela (Charlie) Lensman, both of Bellefontaine, and Kathy (Dan) DeWitt of Urbana, Ohio; grandchildren, Bryant (Ashlei Sparks) Brentlinger, Brittany and Brock Brentlinger, and Emily and Wyatt Foulk; one great-grandchild, Brylei Sue-Don Brentlinger; and many nieces and nephews.
Don was a painter and worked with his dad and brother for C&C Painting. A United States Army veteran, Don was a Green Bay Packers fan, enjoyed fishing and loved to travel.
Calling hours are from 2 to 8 P.M. Saturday, January 9, 2009, at the Masonic Hall 3232 S. Main St. East Liberty, Ohio.
