Donald Crawford

Donald B. Crawford, 89, of Belle Center, passed away Monday evening, February 22, 2016 at Heartland of Bellefontaine. He was born in Hardin County on August 12, 1926 to the late George J. and Annabelle (Blayney) Crawford. Don was also preceded in death by brothers, Charles “Bud”, John and Carl Crawford; and sisters, Artie Ansley and Isabel Turner.

A graduate of Belle Center High School, Don was a US Navy veteran of World War II. He was a lifelong farmer and member of the Belle Center United Methodist Church.

Don is survived by numerous nieces and nephews and a special friend, Yvonne Elliott of Belle Center.

Pastor Kevin Smith will officiate the funeral service on Saturday, February 27, 2016 at 2pm at the Eichholtz Daring and Sanford Funeral Home, Belle Center, where visitation will be held two hours prior to the service. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Belle Center with military honors provided by the Logan County Veteran Honor Guard.
