Donald Robinson

Donald E. “Don” Robinson, 70, of Belle Center, Ohio, passed away Sunday, September 27, 2009, at Lima Memorial Hospital in Lima, Ohio. He was born November 3, 1938, in Clark County Ohio, to the late George E. and Evelyn (Parkinson) Robinson.

On May 21, 1965, he married Carole A. Smith in Logan County Ohio, and she preceded him in death February 16, 2006. Also preceding him in death were two brothers, Fred and Robert Robinson.

Surviving is a son, Rhandy E. (Amy) Robinson and a daughter, Beth A. (David) Garwood, both of Belle Center; a sister Mary L. Schleve of Westerville, Ohio; and two grandchildren, Dylan and Devin.

Don was a supervisor in manufacturing for Rockwell International in Bellefontaine and worked for several years at the United Technologies in Kenton. He retired in 2007 from Scioto Industrial in Marysville.

He was an EMT for the BMRT Squad in Belle Center and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

Rev. Kevin Smith will conduct the funeral service at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, October 1, 2009, at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Belle Center, where calling hours are Wednesday, September 30, 2009, from 2 P.M. to 4 P.M. and 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery in Belle Center.
