Donna Booth Case, age 94 of Columbus, Ohio and formerly of the Rushsylvania and West Mansfield communities, passed away Friday, June 9, 2017 at the Kobacker House in Columbus.
She was born in Logan County Ohio April 21, 1923, the daughter of the late Paul and Ruth (Watkins) Booth. She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Bergman and Pauline Shaw.
On May 24, 1944, she married Paul Ward Case who preceded her in death September 20, 1997. She is survived by a daughter, Bonnie (Jerry) Goodson of Powell, Ohio; a son, Ted (Vicki) Case of West Mansfield, Ohio; six grandchildren, Megan (Brian) Bell of Lewis Center, Ohio, Alexa (Doug) Peterson of Johnstown, Ohio, Joshua (Celeste) Goodson of Franklin, Tennessee, Vanessa (Jace) Davis of Powell, John P. (Bridget) Case and Todd W. (Kim) Case both of West Mansfield; 19 great grandchildren and two nieces.
Donna worked as an Internal Auditor for the HCR division of Owens-Illinois. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Dublin and a longtime member of the Rushsylvania United Methodist Church. She was part of the U.M.W. of Rushsylvania and the Rhoda Circle of the King’s Daughters. She served sixteen years on the Logan County Board of Education including time as President. She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
Bishop Ronald Thomas of Dublin will officiate the funeral service Friday, June 16, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Bellefontaine. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the funeral service. Burial will be at the Rushsylvania Cemetery in Rushsylvania, Ohio.
