Donna Marguerite Spriggs

Donna M. Spriggs, 83, of Quincy, passed away at 10:50 a.m. on Saturday, January 20, 2024, at Mary Rutan Hospital in Bellefontaine, Ohio. She was born in Piqua, Ohio on January 11, 1941, a daughter of the late Harry Edwin Gold and Effie Marguerite (Allebach) Gold.

 Donna is survived by her former husband Robert (Sandy) Spriggs; two daughters, Lisa M. Spriggs, and Lora (Mike) Haines; five grandchildren, Tony (Kay) Spriggs, Brooks (Michelle) Spriggs, Daryn Haines, Tammy Wolaver, and Kristy Spriggs; eight great grandchildren, Tony Spriggs Jr., Matthew (Fiorella) Spriggs, Jennifer Spriggs, Owentyr Clark, Madison Clark, Alyvia Spriggs, Kaison Spriggs, and Taven Spriggs; seven great great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Donna was preceded in death by her son, Lee Spriggs; great grandson, Thrain Clark, a sister, D. Lorene Wren, and two brothers, Don Gold, and Russell “Dean” Gold.

 Donna graduated with honors with an associate degree in business from Lima Tech. She retired from Leaders Sportswear where she had worked as a sewer. She enjoyed selling items on eBay as well as collecting dolls, paperweights, and cats.

 The family will receive friends from 12-1 p.m. on Saturday, February 3, 2024, at New Beginnings Community Church, 127 Main Street in DeGraff, where Pastor Mark Weaver will lead a celebration of life service at 1:00 p.m.
