Donna Jean Triplett

Donna Jean Triplett, 90, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, passed away Sunday morning April 23, 2017, at her home.  She was born in Fremont, Nebraska to the late Harley L. and Julia Ellefson Byllesby.  Donna married Wendell A. Triplett November 28, 1946, in Chillicothe, Ohio and he preceded her in death October 15, 1991.  She was also preceded in death by a son Ricky Dean Triplett, a brother, Kermit Byllesby and a sister, Bonnie Bond.

Donna was active in the family real estate and broadcasting businesses for many years.  She was devoted to her family and particularly enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  Donna hosted the Byllesby family reunion twice in Bellefontaine, most recently in 1996.  She was an active member of the Calvary Baptist Church since the 1980’s and enjoyed spending time with her dear church friends.

Donna is survived by her sons, Marc S. Triplett of Bellefontaine and Eric W. (Brenda Breil) Triplett of Gainesville, Florida; four grandchildren, Angela (Nicholas) Wallace, Lindsey (Michael) Lee, Calli Breil and Shanna Breil; five great-grandchildren, Allison, Nathan and Alaina Wallace, Connor and Ryan Lee; a sister, Grace Wells of Ft. Walton Beach, Florida and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Pastor Jeffory Willetts will officiate the funeral service Thursday, April 27, 2017, at 10:30 A.M. at the Calvary Baptist Church on Rush Ave. in Bellefontaine.  Visitation will be held at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Bellefontaine Wednesday, April 26, 2017, from 5 to 7 P.M.  Burial will be on Thursday at 3 P.M. at the Springbank Cemetery, north of Chillicothe.
