Donna I. Walker

Donna I. Walker, age 71, of Bellefontaine, Ohio went to be with her Heavenly Father at 8:15 P.M. Friday, June 30, 2017, at Heartland of Bellefontaine. She was born in Bellefontaine August 24, 1945, to the late Paul M. and Ida M. Hartzler King.  She was also preceded in death by a grandson, Ryan P. Zumstein.

On September 23, 1967, Donna married Jerome J. “Jerry” Walker at the South Union Mennonite Church in West Liberty, Ohio and they would have been married fifty years this September.  Jerry survives in Bellefontaine, along with a daughter, Tina L. Walker of Dale City, Virginia; a son, Terry L. (Frances) Walker of Culpepper, Virginia; five grandchildren, A.J. Zumstein, Elizabeth M. Zumstein, Caitlin R. Walker, Brayden L. Walker and Micah A. Walker; a sister, Lorraine (Phil) Hoover of Ludlow Falls, Ohio; a twin brother, Don (Phyllis) King of Bellefontaine and many nieces and nephews.

A retired government employee, Donna was a member of the South Union Mennonite Church in West Liberty.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 P.M. Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home in West Liberty.  Pastor Matthew Williams will officiate the funeral service at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, July 6, 2017 at the South Union Mennonite Church in West Liberty.  Burial will be at the South Union Cemetery in West Liberty.
