Dora Focht

Dora Jean Focht, 90, of Bellefontaine passed away Sunday, September 26, 2016 in Mary Rutan Hospital, Bellefontaine.

She was born in Logan County, Ohio on May 15, 1926, the daughter of the late Orie and Lena (Norton) Davis. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband, Kenneth Burden, a son, William Burden, son in law, John E. Booher, and two brothers, Duane and David Davis.

She is survived by her children, Connie (Donavon) Hughes of Bellefontaine, Donald Eugene Burden of Punta Gorda, FL, and Judy Booher of Missouri, 13 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Dora worked as a LPN for several area nursing homes and also baked pies for restaurants around the Indian Lake area. She also ran a Lima News distributing agency for several years.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 27, 2016 in Huntsville Cemetery celebrated by her grandson, Jeremy Booher.

Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Bellefontaine assisted the family with arrangements.
