Doris Farrington

Doris J. Farrington, 77, of Bellefontaine passed away Wednesday evening, May 4, 2016 at St. Rita’s Medical Center, Lima. She was born in Sidney on July 22, 1938 to the late Lyle M. Doseck and Viola H. (Wise) Doseck Kinney. She married Russell N. Farrington on December 22, 1956 in Bellefontaine and he preceded her in death on March 28, 2000. Doris was also preceded in death by a daughter Deborah Farrington, son Russell J. Farrington, daughter-in-law Gail Farrington, and brothers Charles F. Doseck and Carl R. Doseck.

Doris worked for nearly 20 years with AVI Food Services at Honda.

Doris is survived by her children, Rick Farrington of Bellefontaine and Julia (Mike) Moore of Bellefontaine; three grandchildren: Kaci (Harold) Elkins, Joshua Farrington and Xavier Farrington; five great-grandchildren; a sister Carol (Larry) Smalley of Bellefontaine; a half-sister Connie (Mark) Sanders of Springfield; two brothers: Lyle J. (Judy) Doseck of Bellefontaine and Robert L. (Carolyn) Doseck of Florida; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pastor Chuck Temple will officiate a funeral service on Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at 1:30pm at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home, Bellefontaine where visitation will be held Monday, May 9, 2016 from 2-4 & 6-8pm. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Cemetery.
