Doris is survived by her children, Shirley J. Meeker, Helen M. (Jack) Culp, Russell A. (Carol) Henry, Alice V. (Richard) Darling, W. Earl Henry, Brian E. (Sally) Henry, Paul T. Henry, Mary L. (Llewellyn) Tuttle, Anna Mae Henry, and Kathy B. Null; brothers, Max L. (Dorothy) Brentlinger and Ronald L. (Sharon) Brentlinger; sisters, Gloria (Paul) Cornell, Linda Kitchen, and Donna Heindel; brother-in-law, Keith Henry; sister-in-law, Betty Fultz; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Doris was a homemaker, raising her 12 children. She loved sharing her wisdom and the large family gatherings. Doris enjoyed gardening, reading, mushroom hunting, fishing, and cooking. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great-great-grandmother, who will be greatly missed.
A visitation will be on Monday, November 20, 2023, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 321 N. Main Street, Bellefontaine. Pastor Steve Smith will officiate a funeral service at 1:00 p.m. on Monday following visitation at the funeral home. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Cemetery in West Liberty at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
