Doris M. Neff

Doris M. Neff, 93, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, passed away on Friday, June 19, 2009, at the Mary Rutan Hospital in Bellefontaine. She was born on May 12, 1916, in Iowa Falls, Iowa, to the late Ivan and Nora Belle (Oliver) Akers.

On August 2, 1937, she married Donald E. Neff in Richmond, Indiana, and he preceded her in death on August 29, 2001.

She is survived by her sons, Larry D. (Dode) Neff and Lanny D. (Pamela) Neff, both of Bellefontaine. Also surviving are five grandchildren, Lonny, Chad, Lanny D. Neff, Melanie Ahern and Stephanie Earick; eleven great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.

Doris, a member of the Church of Christ, worked for Westinghouse Corporation and retired in 1975.

There will be no calling hours. A graveside service will be at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, June 22, 2009, at the Highland Memorial Cemetery in West Liberty, Ohio.

The Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine handled the arrangements.
