Dorothy Harford

Dorothy May Harford, 66, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, passed away Thursday, July 14, 2011 at her home. Dorothy was born in Logan County Ohio, December 17, 1944, to the late William S. and Mary G. Onofer Harford.

Dot is survived by a brother, David (Betty) Harford of Lewistown, Ohio; a sister, Elaine (Clarence) White of Caledonia, Ohio and several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by a sister Helen Coy, a niece Mary Fulton, and nephews John Gordon, Jeffrey Dean Harford and David Lynn Harford.

Dot worked as a house-keeper for many years in Marion, Ohio, and later returned to Bellefontaine. She was an avid reader and loved to write stories.

Following Dots wishes, there will be no visitation and her cremains will be interred in the Rushsylvania Cemetery in Rushsylvania, Ohio.

The family wishes to thank the Bellefontaine Police and Fire Departments for their professional care and help at this difficult time.
