Dorothy McCormick

Dorothy Anne McCormick, 71, of Belle Center, Ohio, went to be with her Lord and Savior Saturday morning, May 7, 2011. She was born in Bellaire, Ohio to the late Emily E. Bond and William H. Smith December 19, 1939. She married William B. McCormick on May 26, 1959.

Dorothy is survived by her husband William and three children: Beth (Jack) Fish of Columbus, Ohio, Richard (Elaine) McCormick of Grove City, Ohio and Dan McCormick of Valparaiso, Florida. She is also survived by two brothers, Richard (Colleen) Smith of New Carlisle, Ohio and Thomas (Barb) Smith of Bellaire, Ohio and six grandchildren, Logan, Shelby, Nate, Natalie, Dylan and Molly.

Dorothy worked as an accounts payable clerk at Siemens in Bellefontaine, was a member of the Belle Center United Methodist Church and the Bellefontaine Kiwanis Club.

The funeral service will be held at the Belle Center United Methodist Church Wednesday, May 11, 2011, at 11:00AM with Pastor Kevin Smith officiating. Calling hours will be held at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Belle Center Tuesday, May 10, 2011 from 2 to 4 P.M. and 6 to 8 P.M. Interment will be in the Fairview Cemetery in Belle Center.
