Dorothy Peters

Biography

Dorothy L. Peters, 89, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, passed away Friday, February 24, 2012 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. She was born May 19, 1922 in DeGraff, Ohio, to the late Joshua Lewis and Ida May (Campbell) Nevers.

Preceding her in death was her first husband, Charles Gunn; her second husband, James Peters and six brothers.

Surviving is a sister, Betty Ruth Smith of West Liberty, Ohio; a sister-in-law, Stella Nevers of Bellefontaine; a niece and caregiver, Judy (Bud) Alexander of Bellefontaine and several other nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Dorothy was a homemaker and a member of the First Church of God in Bellefontaine.

A graveside service will be held at the Greenwood Union Cemetery in DeGraff, Ohio Thursday, March 1, 2012, at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Ron Irick officiating.

The staff of the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine handled the arrangements.
