Dorothy Virginia Price

Dorothy Virginia Price, age 73, of Rushsylvania, Ohio passed away Monday morning December 11, 2017, at Logan Acres Care Center in Bellefontaine, Ohio.

She was born in West Mansfield, Ohio September 11, 1944, to the late George Willard and Laura Alice (Lease) Bell. She was also preceded in death by her brothers Don Bell and Tom Bell, sisters Phyllis Preston, Mary Bell, Zella McCutcheon, Freda Hoffner and Mabel Bell.

Dorothy is survived by her children, David E. (Chelyene) Price of Belle Center, Ohio and Deborah Price (Jamie) Harbour of Rushsylvania; three grandsons, Chance and Ethan Price, and Cole Harbour; two sisters, Nancy (Tom) Robertson of Newfoundland, Canada and Patricia Griner of Perrysburg, Ohio and numerous nieces and nephews.

A 1963 graduate of Buckeye Local High School, Dorothy worked as a nurse’s aide at Logan Acres for twenty two years before retiring in 2005. She loved her flower beds and sitting on her porch visiting with neighbors.  Dorothy adored her grandsons and treasured the time spent with them.  She also loved to play board games with her family.

Visitation will be held Thursday, December 14, 2017 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Bellefontaine. The funeral service will be held Friday, December 15, 2017 at 10 A.M. at the funeral home. Burial will follow the funeral service in the Rushsylvania Cemetery.
