Douglas McGee

Douglas Allen McGee, 54, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, died Tuesday, April 7, 2009, at The Ohio State University Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio.

He was born in Bellefontaine on April 27, 1954, a son of the late Earnest and Ellen Benton McGee.

Survivors include a sister, Terry (Bud) Mees of DeGraff, Ohio; a brother, Edwin (Barbara) McGee of Jamestown; two nieces, Beth Mees of Bellefontaine, and Laura (Matt) Duff of DeGraff; two nephews, Jason (Mandie) Mees of West Mansfield, Ohio, and Brian McGee of Jamestown; six great-nieces and nephews; and all his friends and co-workers at R.T.C. Industries in Bellefontaine, where he was an associate for 20 years.

He participated in the Special Olympics and enjoyed fishing, camping, movies, music and watching football.

Brother Bill Price conducts the funeral at 2 P.M. Saturday, April 11, 2009, at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine, where calling hours begins at 12:30 P.M. prior to the service. Interment is in Highland Memorial Cemetery in West Liberty, Ohio.
