Dr. William K. Bruce II, 69, of Huntsville, Ohio, passed away Monday, February 16, 2009, at The Ohio State University Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. He was born April 17, 1939, in Marion, Ohio, to the late William K. and Ruth N. Leonard Bruce.

On March 22, 1980, he married Robin Stecschulte in DeGraff, Ohio, and she survives along with 3 sons, William K. Bruce of West Liberty, Ohio, Brian J. (Angie) Bruce of Bellefontaine, Ohio, and Martin G. (Anne) Bruce of Cincinnati, Ohio; 3 daughters, Andrea D. Barton of Gilbert, Arizona, Heather (Tim) Slaughter of Fayetteville, North Carolina, and Jillian R. Bruce of Bowling Green, Ohio; 13 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and 2 step grandchildren.

Dr. Bruce graduated in 1957 from Marion Harding High School and from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry in 1966. He owned and operated Family Dentistry in Bellefontaine from 1966 to 2002.

He was a Deacon at the Indian Lake Community Church in Russells Point, Ohio, a member of the Free and Accepted Masons Lodge #209 in Bellefontaine, a Charter member of the Indian Lake Elks, and a member of the Indian Lake Moose and the Ohio State University Dental Alumni Association.

Calling hours are on Friday, February 20, 2009, at the Sanford-Eichholtz Funeral Home in Lakeview, Ohio, from 5 to 8 P.M. Rev. John B. Ellington, Jr. will conduct a memorial service at 11:00 am on Saturday, February 21, 2009, at the Indian Lake Community Church in Russells Point.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Indian Lake Community Church 120 N. Orchard Island Rd. Russells Point, OH 43348
