Duane Mitchell

Duane Y. Mitchell, 79, of West Liberty, passed away on Sunday, November 20, 2016, at Logan Acres Care Center.

He was born in Champaign County, Ohio on April 10, 1937 to the late D. Walter and Bertha (Russell) Mitchell.

He is survived by a sister, Sharon Cooper of Troy, Ohio: nephew, David Cooper; niece, Karen (Dan) Rittenhouse; and great-nieces, Taylor and Megan Rittenhouse.

Duane was a machinist at Liberty Machine and worked at the Fairview Cemetery, West Liberty.

Duane was a member of the West Liberty United Church of Christ and Logan County Farm Bureau Council #15. He enjoyed walking in West Liberty and being in Church.

Pastor Paul Forrey will officiate a graveside service at 11:00 am in the Highland Memorial Cemetery on Saturday, November 26, 2016.

Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home in West Liberty assisted the family with arrangements.
