Earl Lee Torrence, 69, of Huntsville passed away Thursday, March 3, 2016 at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. He was born in Kenton on July 4, 1946 to the late Stanley Earl and Mary (Cooper) Torrence. He was also preceded in death by a sister Margaret Nabors.
A veteran of the US Army, Earl served during the Viet Nam War. He retired from Pepsi after 37 years in the vending department. Earl was a member of the Belle Center United Presbyterian Church.
Earl is survived by his wife Avis “Dee” (Tapp) Torrence, whom he married on December 25, 1984 in Belle Center. He is also survived by a son Tom Torrence of Huntsville; two sisters: Norma McMillen of Belle Center and Donna Calvin of Kentucky; and Leland Tuttle of Bellefontaine who was like a brother to Earl.
A celebration of Earl’s life will be held at a later date.
