Edward Joseph Martin Jr.

Edward Joseph “Eddie’ Martin Jr., age 60, of Belle Center, Ohio and formerly of St. Ignace, Michigan, passed away peacefully at 5:17 A.M. Friday, June 9, 2017 at his home surrounded by family. He was born in St. Ignace February 21, 1957, to the late Edward J. Martin Sr. and Charlotte L. (Lasley) Martin.

He is survived by his wife of thirty one years, Ann (Bolling) Martin, whom he married October 10, 1986. He is also survived by his children, Lee (Luke) Tucker of Kenton, Ohio, Brooks Martin of Marysville, Ohio, and Charlotte (Andy) Hannah of West Mansfield, Ohio; grandchildren, Carson, Kennedy, and Kylee; a sister, Lindean (George) Shooster of St Ignace; many nieces and nephews; and his special dogs and best friends, Molly, Blackjack, and Toby.

A grandson, Justin Tucker also preceded Eddie in death.

Eddie was a veteran of the United States Marine Corp. He loved being outside and around his grandchildren. Eddie especially loved attending their sporting events.  He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Michigan Wolverines fan. Eddie could always be found next to a bonfire, enjoying time with friends. All who loved him will miss him.

Per Eddie’s request, there will be a celebration of life service at a later time.

The arrangements are in the care of the staff of the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home in Belle Center.
